Das Fächerblatt ist aus Kokosblattrippen und -Streifen in Form eines Taroblattes, dessen Spitze in 5 Zacken mündet, geflochten. Der obere Teil des Blattes ist durch dichtere Flechtarbeit vom unteren abgehoben. Die unten herausragenden Rippen sind mit Bast umwickelt und dienen als Stiel.
