Morning Dresses.
FIG. CCXXXI.
Scotch dress. The front and hind hair dressed in curls and ringlets.
Bonnet of checkered coloured muslin; cocquelicot coloured military feather
placed in the front; veil of clear muslin. White muslin petticoat. Robe
of checkered coloured muslin, with chemise front, short sleeves, trimmed
all round with white fringe. Full ruff of plaited lace round the neck.
Green gloves. Fawn-coloured shoes.
FIG. CCXXXII.
The front hair cut short; the hind hair turned up close. Turban
bonnet of yellow cane, ornamented with a wreath of artificial flowers, a
small tufted feather and a rosette. Round dress of Scotch cambric with an
embroidered border; short sleeves. Black court cloak, trimmed with
broad lace. Festoon necklace. Gold ear-rings. Yellow gloves and
shoes.
