Description

Die Kiste mit flachem Deckel besteht aus Eschen- und Kiefernholz und ist mit grauer Ölfarbe gestrichen. Die Halterungen sind aus geteertem Strick. Innen hat die Kiste eine Beilade. Im Innendeckel ist mit Reißzwecken das Foto eines Schiffes (norwegischen Barke "Handy Arendal") befestigt und es gibt Reste von Beschriftungsspuren (Namenszug?).
Sie wurde gekauft 1905 in Hamburg bei Klöde, benutzt bis 1909.
