In einem Artikel von Alexander Schwed und Alan P. Garfinkel, "Berlin's Ethnological Museum: The California Indian Collection", im Journal of California and Great Basin Anthropology, Vol. 36 (2), S. 343-364 findet sich auf S. 356 eine Abbildung dieses Korbes, den die Autoren (a.a.O) als "a small, coiled and feathered treasure or gift basket" bezeichnen. Als Legende zur Abbildung ist vermerkt: "Figure 9. Pomo Feathered Gift Basked (IVB 7209). H: 1 in. (2.5 cm) D: 2-3/4 in. (7 cm.). Basket has 3-rod foundation that coils to the left. Warp is willow rod. Weft is sedge. Green feathers are Mallard duck (Anas platyrhynchos), red are Red-Winged Blackbird (Agelalus phoeniceus), yellow are Western Meadowlark (Sturnella neglecta), blue are Bluebird (Sialia spp.). Valley Quail (Callipepla californica) topknot feathers decorate the rim. Cotton suspension cord with six clam disc beads. Dangles (old style) are isosceles triangle-shaped abalone (Haliotis spp.) pendants hung with clear and red-clear, smooth glass trade beads on cotton cordage."
