Rear: Mars mit korinthischem Helm und um die Hüfte gewickeltem Mantel steht in der Vorderansicht, den Kopf nach r. gedreht. Mit der r. Hand hält er einen Legionsadler (aquila), über der l. Schulter lehnt ein Feldzeichen (signum).
Pierced: Intentional hole(s) pierced through a coin so that it can be worn on a neclace, sewn onto textiles, etc. In case of paper money such a perforation often indicates devaluation.
Punched: Intentionally marked with a punch, both contemporary to the object and later. In contrast to a countermark of a much more simple design. Not to be confused with punches creating a positive image, which were used during the manufacture of a die.
