Apollonios schreibt dem Gymnasiarchen Chairemon. Zunächst teilt er mit, dass Sochotes, der sich 100 Drachmen geliehen hatte, das Geld zurückgezahlt hat, obwohl er Chairemon persönlich nicht treffen konnte. Dann berichtet er über weitere Angelegenheiten, unter anderem über eine Lieferung von Weizen und weiteren Gütern.

Ἀπολλώνιος Χαιρήμονι τῶι γυμνασιάρχωι χαίρειν. Σωχώτης χρησάμενος ἐν τῆι πόλει, θέλων ἀποδοῦναιἀποδο͂ναι τὰς ἑκατὸν δρα χμὰς, οὐχ εὗρέ σε, τοῦ δὲ σὲ μὴμὴι εὑ ρεθῆναι ἀποδέδωκε αὐτὰς ἄνω θενἄνωθον, ἵναεἵνα φιλάνθρωπον εἰς δύο τόπους μὴμὴι χορηγῆι.
