Description

Front: Drapierte Büste des Kardinals Carlo Borromeo mit Kardinalshut nach links.
Rear: Hohl.
Pierced: Intentional hole(s) pierced through a coin so that it can be worn on a neclace, sewn onto textiles, etc. In case of paper money such a perforation often indicates devaluation.
Gilded: With an overlay (wholly or in parts) of a thin layer of gold. Process is not part of the regular production.
