Alraunwurzel. Diese Pflanze ist unter dem lateinischen Namen Mandragora bekannt, sie hat verschiedene arabische Namen. Als wilde Pflanze wächst sie an verschiedenen Orten der Levante. Ihre Wurzeln ähneln ‚menschlichen‘ Figuren. Sie hat medizinischen Nutzen und ist mit vielen Legenden verbunden.
