Description

Sokrates schreibt an Heliodoros. Er soll den Meridarches Herakleios veranlassen, einen Untergebenen mit dem Worfeln der Gerste zu beauftragen. Sokrates hatte diesen Auftrag bereits am vorherigen Tag Herakleios gegeben, der aber nach Herakleopolis gegangen ist, ohne den Auftrag zu erfüllen.

Σωκράτης Ἡλιοδώρωι τῶι ἀδελφῶι χαίρειν καὶ ἐρρῶσθαι. ἐπεὶ Ἡρά κλειος ὁ μεριδάρχης ἐν Ἡρακλέους πόλει ἐστίν, γραψάτωγραψάτωι τῶι παρʼ αὐτοῦ οὐ κέτι ἀργήσας τὰ λοιπὰ λικμῆσαι. μόλις δὲ χθὲς παρακληθεὶς ὑπʼ ἐμοῦ ἐπέταξε λικμῆσαι τὴν κριθήν. ἐπι μελὲς οὖν ἥγησαι, ὡς τὰ λοιπὰ λι κμήσει. σαυτοῦ ἐπιμέλου ἵνʼ ὑγιαίνῃς· ἔρρωσο ἔτους β Παχὼν ι γεγόνασι ἡμῖν τοῦ Δημητρίου κλήρου
