Die Sitologen von Karanis, Aurelios Longinos alias Zosimos, Sohn des Leonides, Aurelios Horion, Sohn des Marion, Aurelios Heron, Sohn des Kopres, Aurelios Harpalos, Sohn des Sarapion, und ihre Kollegen reichen beim Strategen des Herakleides-Bezirkes Aurelios Dionysios eine summarische Übersicht über Einkünfte in Weizen des Monats Hathyr des laufendes Jahres ein. Die Einkünfte betreffen den Ertrag des vergangenen Jahres und belaufen sich auf 3938 + 1/2 + 1/8 Artaben Weizen samt Transportgebühren. Nach dem Gesamtbetrag werden die einzelnen Posten aufgeführt, die die Staatsbauern und die Katöken von Karanis bzw. von Kerkesucha gezahlt haben.

Αὐρηλίῳ Διονυσίῳ στρατηγῷ Ἀρσινοίτου Ἡρακλείδου μερίδος παρὰ Αὐρηλίων Λογγίνου τοῦ καὶ Ζωσίμου Λεωνίδου καὶ Ὡρίωνος Μάρωνος καὶ Ἥρωνος Κοπρῆτος καὶ Ἁρπάλου Σαραπίωνος καὶ Αρπ Αωνου καὶ τῶν λοιπῶν στολόγων κώμης Καρανίδος. μηνιαῖος ἐν κεφαλαίῳ τοῦ Ἁθὺρ μηνὸς τοῦ ἐνεστῶτος κε ἔτους ἀπὸ γενήματος τοῦ διεληλυθότος κδ ἔτους. εἰσὶν αἱ μετρηθεῖσαι ἡμῖν ἐν θησαυρῷ τῆς προκειμένης κώμης τῷδε τῷ μηνὶ πυροῦ ἀρτάβαι Γϡιζ, διαφόρου πυροῦ ἀρτάβαι κα ? η, γίνονται σὺν διαφόρῳ πυροῦ ἀρτάβαι Γϡλη ? η ὧν Καρανίδος δημοσίων πυροῦ ἀρτάβαι , κατοίκων γίνονται κώμης πυροῦ ἀρτάβαι Γχλδ, ὑπὲρ τῶν ἄλλων κωμῶν Κερκεσούχων δημοσίων κδ ρ κατοίκων α γίνονται κώμης πυροῦ ἀρτάβαι σπγ, διαφόρου πυροῦ ἀρτάβαι κα ? η, γίνονται καὶ ὑπὲρ ἄλλων κωμῶν πυροῦ ἀρτάβαι σπγ, διαφόρου καὶ ταύταις προσαναλαμβάνονται ὑπὲρ φιλανθρώπου καὶ ἄλλων πυροῦ ἀρτάβαι η, γίνονται σὺν φιλανθρώπῳ πυροῦ ἀρτάβαι λθ καὶ ἐκλόγου τοῦ προτέρου μηνὸς πυροῦ ἀρτάβαι Ἐρα, σὺν δὲ τῇ ἐκλόγῳ πυροῦ ἀρτάβαι Ζρ ?
