Description

Schreiben an Euphronios, vermutlich in seiner Funktion als πράκτωρ τῶν ἱερῶν. Ihm wird mitgeteilt, dass der Einbalsamierer Horos, Sohn des Pasas, für ein bestimmtes Jahr 2.800 Drachmen Steuern für Mumifizierungen eingehoben, aber erst 2.200 Drachmen abgeliefert hat. Für die restlichen 600 Drachmen solle ein Bürge gestellt werden.

Εὐφρονίωι παρὰ Πατ τοῦ Θοτσύθμιος. ἐμφανί ζω σοι Ὧρον Πασᾶτος ταριχεύτην ἐγλα βόντα εἰς ν τὸ συναγόμενον ἀργύριον εἰς τὸ ἱερὸν ἀπὸ τῶν ταρι χειῶν χαλκοῦ δραχμὰς Βω ἤδη καταβεβληκέναι αὐτὸν εξω δραχμὰς Βσ, ὥστε καταλείπεσθαικαταλίπεσθαι χαλκοῦ δραχμὰς χ, καὶ τοῦτο ὀφείλει ἕως τοῦ την ὃ καὶεκει ἀναγράφεται εἰς αὐτὸν διὰ τῶν ἱερο γραμματέων. οὗτος δὲ δυνατός ἐστιν εἰσενέγκαι καὶ ἔν γυον ἱκανόν, ἐπεὶ Πασᾶς ὁ πατὴρ αὐτοῦ πρώηνρην ἐποιήσατο ἔγλημψιν χαλκοῦ δραχμῶν ρξ
