Description

Leggings of the Angami Naga. Protect lower legs while working in the fields or walking through undergrowth.
Index card: "Pipa" stockings made of fine cane weave. They cover the area from the foot from the ankle to just below the knee. These stockings are usually plaited directly on the foot and remain there until they wear out, i.e. about 3 months.
