ἐχρῆν μὲν τὴν σὴν ἀδελφότητα δε ταύτην ὑπο μιμνήσκοντος μδε ἐπειδὴ αυτη πεφυλ ἐπιλεγομένων ἢ Κολλοῦθον ἢ Δωρν ὄντας ἐπιτηδείους εἰς τὴν τῆς πεδιάδος φυλακήν, καὶ οὐκ ἠνέσχετο οὐδένα αὐτῶν διδόναι, ὥστε καὶ τούτους εἰπεῖν ὅτι οὔτε ἡμεῖς δυνάμεθα· παρακληθήτω καὶ νῦν διδόναι αὐτοῖς ἕνα τῶν δύο , ἵνα μὴ μείνῃ ἀφύλακτος ἡ πεδιὰς καὶ γένηται ἢ βλάβη ἢ ἕτερόν τι κακὸν καὶ πάλιν ὀχληθῶμεν καὶ διαστραφῶμεν· οἶδεν γὰρ τὰ κακὰ τῶν πραιτωρίων· ἐὰν οὖν χρείαν ἔχεις τοῦ Κολλούθου, δὸς αὐτοῖς τὸν Δωρν
