Die hier dargestellt Buddhafigur zeigt den „Erleuchteten“ mit der Geste der Ermutigung bzw. Schutzgewährung („abhayamudra“). Es ist eine sehr frühe Skulptur im Stil des westlichen Himalaya. Charakteristisch ist hierfür unter anderem der Lotossockel mit einer einfachen Reihe von Lotosblättern, die wie Hufe in der Mitte geteilt sind.
