Das Pilgerzeichen entspricht in Form, Motiv und Inschrift (SIG│NA APOS│TOLORVM P│ETRI ET P│AVLI) im Wesentlichen den anderen Pilgerzeichen der Sammlung mit Darstellung der Apostel Petrus und Paulus (Inv. 1906, 2998 und 6407). Besonders ausgeprägt ist die Ähnlichkeit mit Inv. 6407. Die rechte obere Öse ist weggebrochen. Jedes der vier genannten Pilgerzeichen gilt seit 1945 als vermisst.
