The hair long, plaited in different directions round the head; the front
hair in loose curls, separated in the front with a diamond comb, and
crossed with a string of pearls: Round dress of clear India muslin,
trimmed round the sleeves and bottom with a rich broad lace; full trim-
ming of the same round the neck. Large pearl placed in the front.
Mantlet-sash of white clear muslin, trimmed with lace. Pearl necklace
and ear-rings. White silk gloves and shoes.
