Description

Eingabe der Aitete Phrontis an den Iuridicus (δικαιοδότης) Gaius Caecilius Salvianus. Der Veteranen Gaius Pha...ius Macer hat sein Vermögen dem Veteranen Gaius Longinus Castor (der Testator von BGU I 326) vererbt. Im Testament hat er außerdem der Aitete 2000 Drachmen und einen einfarbigen subricopallium (Schultermantel?) hinterlassen. Gaius Longinus Castor hat sich aber der gesamten Erbschaft bemächtigt und ihr das Vermächtnis nicht ausgezahlt.

Γαίῳ Καικιλίῳ Σαλουιανῷ τῷ κρατίστῳ δικαιοδότῃ, διαδεχομένῳ καὶ τὰ κατὰ τὴν ἡγεμονίαν, παρὰ Αἰτητῆς Φροντίδος. καθʼ ἣν ἀπέλιπεν, κύριε, διαθήκην Ῥωμαικὴν Γάιος ΦαβούλλιοςΦαιος Μάκερ οὐετρανὸς ἀπὸ στόλου πραιτωρίου Μεισηνῶν, ἀπέ λιπεν κληρονόμον Γάιον Λονγεῖνον Κάστορα συνουετρανὸν ἑαυτοῦ καὶ κατὰ τὴν αὐτὴν διαθήκην δοθῆναί μοι ἠθέλησεν ληγάτου ἀργυρίου δραχμὰς δισχιλίαςδισχειλίας καὶ σουβρικοπάλλιον ἰδιόχρωμον. οὗτός τε προσ ερείδων τῇ κληρονομίᾳ καὶ πάντα τὰ ὑπὸ αὐτοῦ ἀπολειφθέντα ἐν ἑαυτῷ ποιησάμενος, ληγᾶτόν μοι μέχρι τούτου οὐ βούλεται ἀποδιδόναι διὸ ἀξιῶ, ἐάν σου τῇ τύχῃ δόξῃ, ἀκοῦσαί μου πρὸς αὐτόν, ὅπως δυνη θῶ τὸ ληγᾶτον ἀπολαβοῦσα τῇ τύχῃ σου διὰ παντὸς εὐχαριστεῖν. διευτύχει.
